Midnight Star Hooded Coat
One-of-a-kind reconstructed coat by Gallanegra.
This experimental garment was created from multiple reclaimed textiles, combining dark blue sportswear fabrics with patterned panels and contrasting light inserts.
Star-shaped appliqués and patchwork sections create a celestial visual language across the coat, while the oversized hood and elongated silhouette give the piece a dramatic sculptural presence.
The back features a circular cut-out detail with adjustable gathering, transforming the structure of the garment and revealing the layered construction.
Each section was carefully deconstructed and reassembled by hand, preserving the history of the original garments while creating a new expressive form.
