Little Socks Sculpture Dress
One-of-a-kind textile sculpture dress by Gallanegra.
This experimental garment was created using reclaimed knitwear and a collection of small handmade socks, assembled into a playful sculptural composition.
The base structure is a reconstructed pink knit dress, transformed through layered textile collage and the addition of colorful miniature socks arranged across the shoulders, waist and hem.
Long knitted extensions fall from the sleeves, enhancing the movement and whimsical silhouette of the piece.
Each element was carefully deconstructed and reassembled by hand, allowing the textures, colors and histories of the materials to remain visible.
