Primary Chaos Knit Sculpture
One-of-a-kind reconstructed knit sculpture by Gallanegra.
This experimental garment was created from reclaimed knitwear and textile fragments, combining bold primary colors with visible hand stitching and layered textile reconstruction.
Different knitted elements were assembled into an expressive vertical composition that extends beyond the body, creating movement and sculptural volume. Pockets and panels made from repurposed knit pieces form a playful collage across the torso.
Long hanging textile extensions and contrasting textures give the garment a raw, expressive presence that moves between fashion, costume and textile art.
Each section was carefully deconstructed and reassembled by hand, allowing the materials to retain their history and irregular character.
A vibrant wearable artwork exploring color, texture and experimental reconstruction.
